Mr. Kamal explained the module and what we would be learning throughout the semester. It was simple but important because it set the direction for the weeks ahead. Besides that, he showed us how to use and control the UV Sphere and set it into different timing movements.  Week 2 This week focused on timing and spacing. I learned that the number of drawings in an action changes how long it lasts on screen. With more frames, the action looks slower, and with fewer frames, it feels faster and sharper. Timing also changes the mood of the action. For example, a head turn can look forceful, casual, or thoughtful depending on how many in-betweens are added. Spac...

The story was shortened and the script adjusted to make it more concise. Decisions on visual style were discussed, like including some combination of 3D environments with 2D characters, while the main character design was simplified. The storyboard was prioritised and completed to keep the workflow on track.  Week 2 This week, we marked the start of the animation phase. After confirming the storyboard, character design, and color scheme, work began on animating the story with a focus on clear movement and storytelling. At the same time, progress on 3D interior and exterior models started in preparation for combining both...

Facial expressions, dynamic timing, and exaggeration should be added to make the action visually engaging. Different shot framings are required, and we can incorporate free 3D props or backgrounds to enhance the scene. Lighting must be set up appropriately, and the animation should be rendered at 24fps with a resolution of 1280 x 720. The final submission includes storyboards and a video compilation showing the progression from blocking, through polishing, to the finished animation. For this particular assignment we should first gath...

Plan and record all dialogue, then design a fitting soundscape with background ambience and sound effects to enhance the storytelling. Use audio editing software to mix everything into a smooth, immersive experience, as if it were a radio show. The story I have chosen is "Onward", a Disney and Pixar animated film. The story is about two elf brothers who go on a magical quest to bring back their deceased father for one day using a special spell. I plan to create a short storytelling segment. This is the outline I’ve written, a...
