REFLECTION

Experience
After completing the 13 weeks of typographic classes, I concluded that they are a really fascinating subject to study. I initially questioned why the course was required to be done because I thought it was boring and unnecessary. But when I learned more about the subtleties of typography, my viewpoint changed dramatically. The complexities of fonts, their historical development, and the significant influence they have on communication grew more and more fascinating. Every lesson revealed a deeper level of comprehension, showing how typography is a language by itself, capable of expressing meaning, emotions, and tone. I enjoy the course's learning methods and study pace. We may receive the fastest feedback in our in-person classes, which helps us to make timely corrections and improvements to our work. We can also receive a prompt assignment follow-up. There is more than enough time for us to complete the job that has been allotted to us. This is because our professor makes it easy for us to grasp what resources to be ready for the upcoming session, which helps us avoid being overwhelmed and unsure of where to begin in class. We also have access to lecture videos that help us get a deeper grasp of typography. Since we can view them again, we have no trouble keeping up with the process.

Observations
My exploration of typography opened my eyes to the rich emotional complexities that typefaces and their arrangement provide. Typography, which was formerly thought to be uninteresting, turned out to be a fascinating storyteller that used strokes and space to portray history, emotions, and subtleties. Every typeface became a personality, subtly conveying meaning and establishing moods, arousing feelings of enthusiasm or nostalgia. I learned about its ability to spark conversations and relationships while influencing people's perspectives without saying a word. Fundamentally, typography evolved from a necessity to an alluring language in which each curve and space conveys meaning, making it an essential form of design and expression.

Findings
I would sum up my time studying typography as an emotional rollercoaster. I experienced an evolution from early deference to intense curiosity. Uncertainty was the beginning, but it eventually gave way to a profound understanding for the emotional complexity that typefaces possess. I became frustrated at times along the road, but in the end, I was drawn in by the narratives and feelings that each typeface offers. This experience has deepened my understanding of design and given me a greater appreciation for the powerful emotional and messaging effects that type can generate.
