Using a structured design framework, the goal was to present information engagingly to a target audience while focusing on one of three objectives: Creating awareness (e.g., global warming, recycling, cybersecurity) Explaining a process (e.g., how-to videos) Defining a concept (e.g., what is fast fashion, what is the color wheel) The animation had to integrate photography, vector imagery, and sound while adhering to principles of organization, aesthetics, and cognition. HERE ARE THE TEAM MEMBERS We created a whatsapp group and discussed all the processes together:  Rachel Yeo Rong Qing (Group Leader) Jia Wen Bing Ruthlene Chua Zhen Si (Me;)) Liu Zi Yu Tan Jie Ying Isabel Tan ...

It should clearly highlight the unique value—whether social, cultural, or economic—of the product or service. The presentation needs to be well-organized and visually strong, following industry standards in terms of content, formatting, and style.   This will be presented to a panel of academics and industry guests, so the slides should be structured based on the proposal while introducing the design concept. It’s important to explain not just the idea but also how different factors were considered and what new design approaches were applied. A key part of the presentati...

It’s not just about presenting a concept but also showing how the production process will be handled. This includes being resourceful, managing risks, and adapting to challenges that come up along the way. Everything in the proposal needs to be backed up with proper evidence—whether it's research, case studies, or analysis—to make sure the design decisions are well justified. A big part of this is making sure the project clearly solves a real need for the target audience. The design should bring something new, wheth...

The design must incorporate photography, vector imagery, and animation principles while applying LATCH for organization, aesthetic clarity, and cognitive visualization techniques. The final video should be 1920 x 1080 and 1.5 to 3 minutes long. It should demonstrate causality, integrate words, numbers, and images, use multivariate graphics, and ensure clarity within eyesight. Charts should be included where necessary, and numerical data should remain meaningful. Submission includes uploading the video as an unlisted YouTube link, storing a digital compilation in Google Drive, and post...
