REFLECTION
In this module, I learned to use Premiere Pro for video editing and adding effects, as well as gaining a fundamental understanding of cinematography, including shot size, camera angle, and composition. This practice enhanced our shooting skills, helping us gather the best materials for our video productions. We were also taught the principles of storytelling, improving our ability to create engaging and logically structured video clips with elements like the inciting incident, midpoint, and climax scenes.
Throughout the tasks, I gained significant insights into video editing, focusing on audio dubbing and sound integration, which deepened my appreciation for the art of video editing and the critical role of sound in creating compelling visual stories. From understanding the technical aspects of lighting and color grading to exploring creative editing techniques, each task and project has contributed significantly to my growth. Working in teams and receiving constructive feedback from Mr. Martin enhanced my ability to collaborate and improve my work.
Project 2, which encompassed shooting practice and creative editing, significantly enhanced my skills through practical tasks and collaborative efforts. Key learnings included meticulous planning, innovative editing, and effective use of lighting, all bolstered by insightful feedback from Mr. Martin. The exploration of stop-motion animation led me to experiment with light and shadow techniques, culminating in a unique final project.
This journey has deepened my understanding of video production, fueling my passion and preparing me for future creative endeavors.
